Nicole Nowocien, Edison Elementary School Teacher Aide

Edison Elementary would like to recognize teacher aide Nicole Nowocien as part of the Ken-Ton weekly spotlight. Nicole has supported an Edison student each year for the past four years, starting when he first entered kindergarten. From the very beginning, she has devoted herself to making sure he can fully engage in all activities and feel like a valued member of his peer group. She provides thoughtful one-on-one support while also encouraging his independence, creating an environment where he feels happy, confident, and included. Nicole has a natural ability to guide him in ways that both support and challenge him, helping him grow while still allowing him to be independent. Additionally, Nicole has worked collaboratively with the student's teachers and other providers to ensure success for him, and the class as a whole. She is a valuable part of the Edison community and has made a huge impact on the lives of many students, especially one particular student.
