Edison 1st-Grader Distinguished in PBS Kids Writers Contest

Congratulations to Edison Elementary School first-grade student Ellery Biddle who was an award winner in the PBS Kids Writers Contest organized by Buffalo Toronto Public Media.
The competition included submissions from students throughout the Western New York region as well as Southern Ontario.
Ellery's story, which is entitled "If Everything Was Alive!" and centers around how the world would be if inanimate objects such as books and jars could talk, won an Honorable Mention.
The competition was for students in kindergarten through third grade and Ellery was one of only four 1st-graders recognized.
